About Me.
My name is Pedram Lalbakhsh, and I am a seasoned professor of English literature and communications, a literary critic, a translator and interpreter, an author, and above all a lifelong learner. I have taught in a couple of countries, and I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of courses to students from diverse cultures in Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and Iran. When I am free and connected to the world of muses, I write poems, plays, and short stories, and I really enjoy it. If my imagination is not that active and productive, then you will probably find me analyzing and critiquing the works of poets and authors or translating them. Practically and professionally speaking, I am fond of helping my students to get ready for a world of opportunities they have ahead of them, so I am always involved in sharing my knowledge and experience with various students from different levels and programs. Helping students with their needs such as reviewing their MA or PhD theses or training them to be strong presenters and public speakers are some of the activities I really enjoy. Feel free to reach out to me if you think I can be a matter of help. Doors are always open to have a nice chat.
